Product Manager, Banking Products will be responsible for leading
several strategic initiatives for the firm. This energetic and
strategic product leader will partner across the organization to
develop strategy and roadmaps, create new products and solutions,
and drive adoption by clients and branches. The Banking Products
department is responsible for ensuring that branch teams and
clients have a consistent supply of high-quality cash and lending
products that meet client needs and align with our business model.

Summary: Collaborate with the team to develop and execute the
firm's co-brand credit card and payments product strategy to ensure
branch teams have quality products (credit card, debit card, ATM,
bill pay, check-writing, etc.) and support needed to help clients
achieve their financial goals. Participate in the design and
development of innovative payments products that align with firm
advice and guidance, that are simple/easy to use and that are
market parity or better with industry available options. Gather
data and insights and conduct analysis of advanced complexity that
inform product strategy and development. Develop and advocate for
an informed perspective for what the Edward Jones product
experience should be and how to get there. Responsible for co-brand
credit card and banking services product partner relationships of
moderate to significant size, complexity, number or impact in order
to: manage and maintain services offered to Edward Jones clients,
including influencing recommendations to add / remove / change
products or product partners as needed help shape and execute
product business plans that align with firm strategic direction;
business plans will include estimated financial outcomes and
product innovation plans ensure that product literature and support
is effective (quantity and quality), aligned with key firm messages
and compliant; work in partnership with third-party partners,
Marketing and other internal stakeholders to develop and deliver
marketing collateral to branch teams work with internal and
external stakeholders to integrate Payments offerings with existing
branch and client systems to create an enjoyable experience for
both branch teams and clients resolve moderately complex / broad
product partner issues as escalated; oversee the servicing
component of our third-party relationships, ensuring a positive
service experience for branch teams and clients interacting with
our partners regularly interface with product partner peer contacts
(Eg. relationship managers, product analysts, divisional sales
managers, and operational managers) Serve as a subject matter
expert for the Payments products for the firm. Includes broad and
some advanced knowledge of products features, benefits, pricing,
etc. and their relative positioning in the marketplace. Develop
understanding of rules and potential changes in the tax, legal and
regulatory environment pertinent to payments Leads certain
additional responsibilities specific to the team or area (Eg.
recruiting, training, product partner coordination, wholesaler
effectiveness) Participate in broad division, firm or industry
initiatives and events as needed to represent the product line in
alignment with firm strategy (Eg. cross divisional-projects,
internal committees, product partner events, regional events,
industry groups, etc.) Qualifications Required in the Job: 7 years
of relevant experience such as product development, product
management, client experience strategy. Financial services
experience is ideal, but not required. Vendor management experience
preferred Payments or co-brand credit card experience preferred.
Series 7, 66 required within 18 months of hire. Bachelor's degree
required; progress toward advanced degree or relevant industry
designation(s) preferred Functional Knowledge: Broad and some
advanced knowledge of debit card, credit card, bill pay, checking
or other payments products Strong critical thinking, analytical
skills, and technical aptitude Highly collaborative with a client
first service approach Solid written, verbal and presentation
skills Intermediate proficiency with systems and tools such as MS
Office, Tableau and databases Span of Influence: The span of
influence in this position is medium to high. Regularly interface
with associates in Compliance, Finance, Legal, Products, Product
Review, Operations, Service and Solutions. Regularly integrate with
