As we continue to expand across SMBs, CPA firms, mid-market, and enterprise clients , we are seeking a highly experienced U.S.-based Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to serve as a long-term tax strategist and advisor , supporting our growing operational and compliance needs. The Opportunity This role is designed for a seasoned CPA who operates beyond basic compliance and brings a strategic mindset to accounting and tax advisory work. You will partner closely with company leadership to ensure our tax structure, accounting practices, and compliance posture are optimized as the business continues to scale. We are not seeking a transactional tax preparer or basic bookkeeper. We are looking for a CPA-level professional who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of advising strategically while remaining hands-on. This is a long-term opportunity with flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to influence financial decision-making at a growing organization. What We’re Looking For We are specifically seeking a CPA who: Is a licensed U.S. CPA in good standing Has strong experience working with U.S. corporations , including multi-state considerations Has supported SMBs, mid-market, or enterprise-level businesses Provides both tax compliance and proactive tax strategy Is thorough, detail-oriented, and highly organized Is comfortable advising leadership and explaining complex tax matters clearly Takes ownership and approaches the role as a trusted business partner Scope of Work Initial Scope Review and validate current corporate, accounting, and tax structures Ensure all federal and state registrations, filings, and compliance requirements are accurate Advise on: Federal and state tax obligations Filing requirements and timelines Tax elections and structural considerations Best practices for accounting systems and record-keeping Prepare and/or oversee: Corporate tax returns Required informational and compliance filings Ongoing Scope Ongoing CPA-level advisory and tax support Annual and year-end tax filings Proactive tax planning as revenue, staffing, and operations scale Ongoing compliance oversight and risk mitigation Collaboration with leadership on financial strategy and planning Requirements Qualifications Active CPA license in good standing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong knowledge of U.S. tax law and accounting principles (GAAP) Experience advising growing businesses Strong communication skills, both written and verbal High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel BenefitsCompensation & Benefits Starting Salary: From $125,000 annually , with flexibility based on experience and responsibilities Performance-based compensation opportunities 401(k) with employer matching Health insurance Paid time off and paid sick leave Flexible schedule Hybrid work options available Our Ideal Working Relationship We are seeking a long-term CPA and tax advisor relationship , not a one-time engagement.
