Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Dispatcher needed for a very
busy Courier and Trucking Company. Must be available to work
weekday evenings 2pm-10pm and Saturdays on a rotating basis.
Responsibilities - Address problems and requests by providing
solutions - Receive and dispatch orders for deliveries - Use radio,
phone or computer to dispatch drivers to appropriate locations and
communicate with our clients - Monitor the route and status of
drivers - Provide drivers with information about orders, traffic,
obstacles and requirements - Enter orders and notes in the system -
Provide excellent customer service at all times - Assist with
quoting jobs Qualifications - Knowledge and experience with
shipping and receiving processes and procedures. - Proficient in
the Geography of the Greater Chicagoland Area - Minimum 2 years of
proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position - Experience
in data entry - Proficient in English (oral and written) and the
geographical area - Outstanding organizational and multitasking
abilities - Active listener with excellent communication skills -
Sound judgment and critical thinking - High school diploma
