Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
school psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school
year within a K-12 district in the Chicago area. This role requires
a bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish to support
diverse student needs across multiple school sites. The position
begins in early January and continues through mid-May, offering an
opportunity to positively impact students by conducting evaluations
and providing crucial psychological services. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations focused on IQ
testing to support student learning plans. - Collaborate with
educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop
intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs. -
Manage caseload itinerantly, traveling to multiple schools within
the district to provide services. - Maintain accurate records and
ensure compliance with Illinois educational and psychological
licensure regulations. - Participate in eligibility meetings and
provide guidance on student placement and accommodations.
Qualifications: - Masters degree or higher in Psychology. -
Illinois Professional Educator License and Illinois School
Psychologist License required. - Bilingual proficiency in English
and Spanish. - Experience working with K-12 students preferred. -
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective
collaboration with staff and families. Location: - On-site position
based in Elgin, IL with travel to various district schools as
needed. This contract position offers a unique chance to contribute
