Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A special education teaching opportunity is available
within a K-12 public school district located in Joliet, IL. This
contract position offers a full school year (CSY) assignment
supporting students with diverse needs across multiple age groups
and specialized classroom settings. Position Details: Elementary
STAR (Autism) classroom serving elementary and intermediate
students Middle School STAR (Autism) classroom Multi-Needs High
School classroom for students with severe and profound disabilities
requiring additional staff support CONNECT classroom providing
transition programs for students ages 18-22 Qualifications: Valid
ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) in Special Education is
required Experience working with students with autism and
multi-needs populations preferred Ability to implement engaging,
differentiated instruction tailored to individual student IEP goals
Strong classroom management skills within specialized settings
Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction aligned with
student Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Collaborate
with co-teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
Track student progress and communicate with families and school
staff Support social-emotional development in structured
environments Location: Joliet, IL (within the A.E.R.O. Special
Education Cooperative) This opportunity requires interested
candidates to submit documentation verifying ISBE certification

ranges from $33.05 to $53.05. Eligible candidates may also receive
