Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to
provide specialized support within K-12 classrooms focused on
students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. This contract
position offers a chance to work within a cooperative that delivers
special education services across multiple districts in the Joliet,
IL area and surrounding communities. Location and Assignment
Details: Services will be provided across 6 classrooms in several
schools including Willowbrook High School (Villa Park, IL), Addison
Trail High School (Addison, IL), Maercker Intermediate School
(Westmont, IL), and PrairieView Elementary School (Downers Grove,
IL). Each classroom is part of a Structured Learning Environment
(SLE) program. Caseload includes approximately 3-4 self-contained
classrooms, each serving 6-8 students with unique communication
needs. Responsibilities: Implement individualized speech-language
therapy plans for students with Autism and Intellectual
Disabilities. Collaborate with educators and special education
staff to integrate therapeutic goals within the classroom setting.
Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student
progress. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support
student development and educational success. Qualifications: Active
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech
Endorsement. Active state Speech-Language Pathology License.
Experience working in school settings with students requiring
specialized communication services. Candidates who are Clinical
Fellows in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CFYs) are welcome to
apply. Work Schedule: Full-time hours (35-37.5 hours per week).
Duration from ASAP through approximately May 28, 2025, with exact
