Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students within a school setting from March through May. This full-time contract position focuses on providing make-up services to help ensure students continue to receive essential speech and language support. Key Qualifications: Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in schools Familiarity with K-12 education environments and student-centered therapy approaches Ability to deliver make-up speech services effectively within a school calendar year (CSY) Strong communication and collaborative skills to work alongside educators and families Location: Positions located in Joliet, IL Supporting a diverse student population across all grade levels K-12 Primary Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students who require make-up sessions Assess and monitor student progress, updating intervention plans as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student communication goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district requirements and compliance guidelines Benefits: Full-time hours within a structured, school-year contract Opportunity to make meaningful impacts on student communication development Experience in a dynamic school environment serving diverse learners Professional growth through collaboration with educational teams This position offers a chance to apply your specialized SLP skills in a focused, short-term contract to bridge gaps in student services.
