Key qualifications and experience: - Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Special Education Teaching Endorsement. - Experience working with middle school-aged students. - Proficient in writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). - Familiarity with the Embrace system for managing special education services. Position details: - Hours per week: ranges from 20 to 37.5. - Days per week: between 2.5 and 5 days, offering schedule flexibility. - Location: Gurnee, Illinois. - Contract type: School year duration. Responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction tailored to students unique learning needs, developing and updating comprehensive IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and utilizing Embrace software to track student progress and compliance.
