Support students' educational success in diverse K-12 settings with a focus on specialized paraprofessional roles designed to provide targeted assistance in early childhood, structured learning environments, and support for visually impaired students. Opportunities are available within various schools located in Lisle, Clarendon Hills, and Downers Grove, IL, offering a contract position for the current school year with 35-hour workweeks. Key Responsibilities: Assist students with visual impairments by implementing individualized education plans in both early childhood and high school classrooms. Support elementary students within Structured Learning Environments (SLE), facilitating academic and social development. Provide bilingual support where required, especially for Spanish-speaking students in high school. Collaborate closely with licensed educators, specialists, and families to foster inclusive learning experiences. Maintain compliance with all educational standards and regulations pertinent to paraprofessional staff. Qualifications: Possession of a valid Paraprofessional Educator License (PEL) and Paraprofessional Certification is mandatory. Experience working with visually impaired students or structured learning programs is preferred. Bilingual Spanish proficiency required for high school visually impaired paraprofessional roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families. Ability to work 35 hours per week within the school calendar year contract.
