Title: Engineering Operations Manager

Location: Bolingbrook, IL 100% on-site

Direct hire

Salary: $145k-$150k/yr w. 20% bonus

Must have: Experience managing Manufacturing/Process Engineers

Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility for all engineering disciplines in the Molding department. Engineering disciplines include Process Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Create and drive business excellence strategies in striving for the world-class manufacturing culture in following areas: Continuous Improvement Engineering, Process Engineering Excellence strategies, Manufacturing Engineering.
• Utilize the tools of Problem Solving, Lean, Six Sigma, and other Continuous Improvement Processes to create a culture of world-class Operational Excellence.
• Actively works with New Product Development group in launching new products and bringing new innovative manufacturing processes.
• Communicates and coordinates all CI initiatives throughout the organization to interested parties of varying technical knowledge levels from directors to engineers to operators.
• Translates and documents performance improvements to financial values that align with corporate goals. Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in a related engineering fields
  • 5+ years of Engineering Management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Understands P&L at a departmental level.
  • Analytical and presentation skills
  • Ability to motivate others through excellent leadership skills
  • Problem solving experience using standard tools and methods such as 8-steps, DMAIC or similar root-cause analysis methods Meet Your Recruiter
