Job Description Job Description Job Title: Water Jet Operator Job Description The Water Jet Operator will be responsible for running a Water Jet machine, performing approximately 1-10 runs per day on various parts. The candidate must have a solid understanding of the X and Y axis for machine operation and part setup. A background with at least 2 years of CNC experience on any CNC machine, such as waterjet, CNC operator, machinist, or router, is required. After each run, the operator will be responsible for cleaning the finished parts before they proceed to the next stage of the operation. The role also involves loading the machine independently, which requires the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Quality checks are crucial, involving the use of micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure compliance with part specifications. Responsibilities Operate the Water Jet machine for 1-10 runs per day on different parts. Understand and apply knowledge of the X and Y axis during machine operation and part setup. Clean finished parts after each run before moving them to the next stage. Load the machine independently, lifting up to 70 lbs as needed. Perform quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure compliance with part specifications. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years CNC experience on any CNC machine. Understanding of X and Y axis operations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of South Bend, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $56000.00/yr. They have medical/ dental vision 401k. They offer paid vacation and holidays. They will be given uniforms and PPE that they need to keep in the facility.
