Job Description Job Description Safety Manager - Industrial Construction - Base Salary to 110k/year - Lemont, IL AllSearch Recruiting is searching for a Safety Manager for our client in Lemont, IL. The Safety Manager will have an in-depth understanding of all current government safety regulations (i.e., OSHA), workers' compensation, emergency response planning & procedures, first aid, CPR, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene and be responsible for day-to-day safety department support and site visits within a leading civil industrial and maintenance construction organization focused on multi-state industrial, power, chemical and commercial plants. Responsibilities: Work closely with the Director of Safety and on-site safety to implement processes and promote strong culture. Ensure full safety compliance with all federal, state, local, and company safety regulations. Conduct daily job-site audits to ensure compliance and set expectations. Maintain and motivate safety on a client project site with 100 employees. Maintain safety related records for site personnel. Coordinate with other internal departments to manage safety supplies. Ensure all safety binders, permit packets, and policies are kept up to date and readable. Maintain records and maintenance of all gas monitoring equipment on site. Ensure all new hire and annual safety training are completed and documented. Assist with industrial hygiene testing, training, toolbox talks and practical hands-on training. Provide mentorship and support field personnel. Regular and predictable attendance, safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety preferred In-depth understanding of all current government safety regulations (i.e., OSHA), workers' compensation, emergency response planning & procedures, first aid, CPR, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene Petrochemical/Energy experience/interest preferred Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and prioritize work Good verbal and written communications skills and math aptitude Comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite of products. Be a servant-leader with all personnel. Compensation: Base salary in the 100k - 110k/year range Comprehensive benefit package 401k with employer 6% match – Immediate Vesting INDALL
