The Visual Presentation Manager - Target leads the design development for branded -presentations and for strategically focused Ulta Beauty driven presentations within the Target environment. This role marries the strategies of the merchant and brand teams with Ulta Beauty's consumer experience and visual merchandising strategies. Through crafting the vision and design for each visual treatment, this role ensures the resonance between how presentations manifest in the Ulta Beauty fleet and how they adapt into the Target at Ulta Beauty environment.
This role is a critical liaison with our Target partners, brand partners, fixture manufacturers, Space Planning, Store Design and Visual Merchandising, Procurement, and Merchants to develop impactful presentations that excite our guests in Target stores while championing our Ulta Beauty presentation standards. Project governance will span from brief inception into design development through to implementation, partnering with Target, suppliers, and Ulta Procurement to manage the scheduling, production, and deliverables. The position requires a passion about the total store experience and visual merchandising and a stewardship that guides partners through the entire design process.

Play a central role in collaborating with brand partners and merchant teams to meet the strategic objectives of the Target merchandising and marketing strategies. Similarly drive select Ulta Beauty driven presentations that span brands and categories.
Manage innovative strategies to ensure that the in-line presentations for our new and existing brands create best-in-class designs, excite our guests, drive sales, provide newness, and influence sales and growth. Continually drive the elevation and our instore presentations.
Create overarching visual merchandising approaches for branded presentations that will seamlessly connect the guest's shopping experience between Ulta Bauty Stores and Ulta Beauty at Target.
Manage the Target Visual Merchandising Specialist through all specific design development for Ulta Beauty at Target.
Guide teams and external partners through the end-to-end design process, from brief establishment, throughout design development, and into engineering and implementation.
Collaborate with vendors, Procurement, Space Planning and Target to ensure fixture resets are completed on time and in compliance with Ulta Beauty's and Target's store experience standards.
Serve as the key partner to Procurement, Fixture Manufacturers, Merchants and Brand Partners to contribute design and cost information as required for budget approval

Minimum 5 years of experience within corporate visual merchandising organizations or design focused retail design houses, optimally complimented with in-store working experience.
Proficiency in visual merchandising, product merchandising, and in-store implementation.
Experience with managing direct reports and leading a team
Undergraduate degree in relevant field (Marketing, Design, Visual Merchandising, Project Management) and/or equivalent field experience focused on visual merchandising is an advantage.
Depth of experience with the interconnection between store fixtures, graphic communication, product merchandising and store operations.
Ability to work through prototypes and sample store set-ups in mock store environments and to work with suppliers on production requirements.
Ability to lead and influence diverse partners to scope projects, lead change, and build comprehensive programs for launches and updates.
Strong written and oral communication skills in order to convey project statuses and presentation standards to a variety of partners.
Fluency in software programs as required to visualize and communicate concepts, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and project management tools
