Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the Cooking Category Product Manager will be responsible for researching and developing the cooking product assortment, pricing and establishing in-store placement targets of all cooking products for Beko US Inc regardless of brands served (company brands). In addition, knowledge, execution and directing on both product safety and performance compliance for cooking product category will be the key aspects of the job for the successful individual. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the ongoing development and refinement of cooking category's product assortment, revenue and profit.

Owning the New Product Introduction (NPI) Process for cooking product category from the initiation of the project till to the realization and the initial introduction to the market will be one of the main roles for the Cooking Category Product Manager.

Cooking Category Product Manager will coordinate launch efforts with brand, social media, PR and Sales, will be responsible for the ongoing success of new launches and running business.
The Cooking Category PM will lead all aspects and ensure the success of local implementation of the USA cooking product initiatives in line with our premium brand positioning and USA brand strategies. The PM will spearhead the product development processes and ensures coherence with market requirements for all Beko cooking products. The PM will collaborate and work cross functionally with sales, demand planning, factories and supply chain to ensure the business is running smoothly, meets our internal profit hurdles while achieving short-term, mid-term and long-term business priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Cooking Category Product Manager will be managing all aspects of the product road map and responsible for delivering the KPIs.
Lead the development of assortments/ portfolio at regional level across US and Canada (incl. framework for channel management regarding assortment and pricing)
Analyze, compile, and define market requirements concerning trends, consumers, competitors, distribution, based on regional consumer journey framework, supported by regional Experts
Analyze and recommend strategic price positioning, define min./target revenues for sales channels based on regional targets
Coordinate go-to-market approach for new products / launches
Conduct POS analysis and recommend measures to enhance POS positioning
Support omni-channel marketing teams with the development of specification sheets, assets, and product information
Prepare and present the product line to the dealers
Be the key sales interface for running business and new launches
Track variants & recommend measures to fulfill variant expansion and reduction targets
Lead the development of product concepts and contribute and spearhead product development process based on the operating model
Support sales areas to ensure successful implementation of business unit strategy (e.g., definition of promotional activities)
Working with the OEM Manager to determine and assist on product creation, development and coordination process.
Provide the voice of the American Consumer for benchmarking and/or generating ideas for new product development.
Collaborate with product manager at the HQ to share the North American trends and provide value added support/feedback to the R&D Team over at HQ and the production facilities.
Support the NPI process by closely working with HQ PM, Sales, Operations, Marketing and Customer Support key stakeholders to bring the product into the market by providing product technical material.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is required
7 years' experience in leadership Cooking Appliances product management and/or Product Marketing roles with major consumer brand durable goods companies is required
Demonstrated successes working effectively with sales teams is required
Must possess excellent quantitative skills combined with superior communication skills
Proven leadership/management skills with effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills required
Must be a highly engaged leader who is cognizant of the changes in the marketplace
Ability to build consensus and obtain organizational alignment for initiatives is required
A demonstrated track record of influencing priorities and motivating cross-functional partners for support is preferred
Must possess excellent presentation and public speaking skills
Must possesses problem solving skills
