Job Description:
The Manufacturing Manager will oversee a team of -20 production
workers at my client's impressive manufacturing site based near
Naperville, IL. This role is heavily focused on driving
improvements to manufacturing operations and is a great fit for a
professional with a 'change-agent' mentality.Client DetailsMy
client is a leading, global manufacturer of industrial machinery,
serving a strong customer base spanning a variety of industries.

because of efforts to run more LEAN and adopt/embrace new
technologies & practices in manufacturing, they are forecasting
impressive growth. Description
- Lead & develop a team of production staff, evaluating
performance, tracking KPIs, & driving performance improvements
- Spearhead initiatives to reduce production costs& increase
manufacturing efficiency & capabilities
- Troubleshoot issues on production floor as needed
- Be responsible for tracking of production scheduling from start
to finish
- Drive safety initiatives & ensure procedures are being
followed
- Manage departmental budget
- Observe and improve quality standards Profile
- 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing setting with
supervisory/managerial duties
- Background in an industrial/metals manufacturing setting -
knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and/opr stamping
processes
- Demonstrated track record driving continuous improvement of
manufacturing processes
- Hands-on mentality pertaining to production
- Knowledge of production scheduling & project management
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skillsJob Offer
- Base salary $100,000 - $120,000 depending on level of
experience
- Annual bonus incentive in company's manager tier - paid out
20+% last year
- 3 weeks PTO + 1 week sick time
