The director, solution delivery is responsible for consulting with
clients to develop tailored comprehensive condition care management
solutions that align with their business goals and drive growth for
TurningPoint. This leader is expected to work externally with VP
levels and below, and internally with VP levels and below.
Responsibilities include being a trusted partner and advisor for
clients, advocating for TurningPoint's products, ensuring solutions
help clients meet their business goals, deliver a positive
experience for all stakeholders, and overseeing implementation to
ensure timely delivery and measurable results. Candidates should
have 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare,
with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to
address complex business and technical challenges.Roles and
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leads from sales and account management teams to
understand each clients' unique needs and tailor solutions to help
meet their business goals and deliver measurable results, requiring
minimal support from leadership.
- Craft solutions that support TurningPoint's mission, vision,
strategies, standards, and best practices
- Uncover root causes of problems through diligent research.
Identify feasible solution approaches using relevant facts and
data.
- Work closely with cross-functional team members from both
technical and business operations areas, asking relevant questions
and guiding the overall program design choices to optimize clients'
systems and processes.
- Develop deep expertise in TPHS's products and processes by
engaging in cross-functional collaboration, and consistently
applying this knowledge to craft tailored, effective client
solutions.
- Explain the implementation process to clients, helping them
understand the resources they will need to be successful, and
address questions and concerns they may have.
- Act as a trusted partner and advisor to clients throughout the
solution development and implementation process
- Read and correctly interpret contract documentation, applying
it appropriately to solution development and meaningfully
contributing to contract discussions.
- Identify new opportunities to bring TurningPoint solutions to
clients that help them meet their goals.
- Identify and implement improvements to internal processes and
documentation
- Coach and mentor junior team members, helping them learn and
improve their performanceSolution implementation:
- Oversee all aspects of implementation across multiple
functional areas including technology, operations, provider
relations, reporting & analytics, and others.
- Develop implementation plans, requirements, and approaches that
are realistic, as well as technically and operationally
feasible.
- Ensure internal cross-functional teams understand their
deliverables, timelines, and requirements and help them remove
barriers to timely and high-quality delivery.
- Work collaboratively with internal leaders, gaining support and
alignment through influence and credibility
- Lead resolution of complex business and technical problems to
ensure implementations are delivered on time and meet clients'
expectations.
- Work day-to-day with clients to ensure implementation work is
moving forward, and decisions are being made in a timely manner.
Help clients to remove barriers and escalate issues when
needed.
- Manage overall implementation health, creating meaningful
status updates for internal and client consumption that highlight
key issues, risks, and critical milestones.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive and professional-looking
documentation and deliverables.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 7-10 years of experience working as a solutions consultant,
implementation consultant, client-facing implementation manager,
solution architect, or management consultant.
- 5+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry or
with healthcare clients, preferrable medical or behavioral.
- 5+ years of experience in a client-facing role, working
directly with clients (in person or remotely)
- 3+ years of experience and demonstrated proficiency working
with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and either Smartsheet, MS
Project, or other Project software.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and
professionally with business and technical people
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a
bias toward action
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete work in a timely
manner, effectively managing multiple deadlines and competing
priorities.
- Ability to build strong business relationships based on trust,
understanding and respect, both internally and externally.
- Ability to define objective, measurable, and realistic
goals.
- Exhibit diplomacy, discretion, tact, and sound judgment while
maintaining confidentiality in all professional
interactions.Preferred Qualifications
- Strong preference for 5+ years of experience at a leading
consulting firm such as BCG, Bain, Deloitte, or Accenture
- Degree in business, health administration, healthcare
management, information technology, nursing, public health, or
operations management
- Familiarity with complex condition management, utilization
management, and claims processing related business processes,
policies, and best practicesThis is a remote position, but up to
10% travel may be required to attend TurningPoint or Client on-site
