• Diagnose and treat mental health disorders -
• Facilitate sessions with individuals, groups, or families -
• Refer clients to specialists if necessary -
• Create a treatment plan based on each client's needs -
• Monitor client progress during treatment -
• Fully Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar)---
• Prior experience in psychotherapy -
• Examine issues including substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, self-image, stress and suicide -
• Help clients define goals, plan action and gain insight -
