Job Description Job Description A 13-week contract opportunity
is available for a Pharmacist specializing in home infusion
services. This role involves key responsibilities such as
dispensing prescription medications, monitoring patient compliance,
and ensuring proper medication management within legal
requirements. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule
from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and the potential to convert to a permanent
role based on performance. Responsibilities: Accept and dispense
prescription medications accurately Monitor patient medication
compliance and detect over-usage patterns Ensure the suitability
and legality of prescribed medicines Maintain confidential and
accurate patient records and pharmacy files Provide patient
consultation regarding medication usage, side effects, and
interactions Educate patients on the proper handling of medical
devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters Compound
medications and prepare sterile solutions following protocols
Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks Maintain
adequate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies Identify
and communicate drug-related problems to healthcare professionals
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacy interns, and
other healthcare practitioners Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Florida Pharmacist license required Background in retail
pharmacy accepted; training provided for those new to home infusion
Strong communication and supervisory skills Knowledge of pharmacy
laws and regulations concerning medication dispensing and storage
Location: Position based in Joliet, Illinois; candidates should be
available to work onsite This contract to hire position starts
