Job Description:
Ascension seeks a dedicated and skilled
Technologist-Mammographer to join our faith-based healthcare
organization. In this role, you will be essential in providing
high-quality mammographic studies to assist in the diagnosis and
treatment of patient conditions. Our mission is to innovate

health outcomes. Perform high-quality mammographic imaging tests
according to the standards required in the medical industry. Ensure
patient safety and comfort during procedures. Maintain accurate
patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with
radiologists to evaluate images and determine necessary follow-up
tests. Provide education and support to patients regarding
mammography procedures. Manage the use and maintenance of
mammography equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Participate in training and development sessions to stay up-to-date
with the latest advancements in mammography technology. Proficient
in operating mammography imaging equipment. Strong understanding of
radiation safety and protection practices. Excellent interpersonal
communication abilities for effective patient interaction.
Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and image
assessment. Capability to collaborate effectively with healthcare
professionals. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Certified by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state license as a
Radiologic Technologist, specialized in Mammography.
