Certified Respiratory Therapist Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,020 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: CRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Wisconsin/compact license required Certifications: BLS, RRT Must-Have: Previous charge experience Patient ratio experience of 10 Charting system experience required (Epic preferred) Travel experience required Description: Role includes performing daily treatments, ventilator checks, and BiPAP checks. Responsible for administering PRN treatments, participating in codes, and bedside procedures. Maintaining accurate patient charts with detailed documentation of therapies provided. Required to attend all emergency situations, including codes and trauma alerts. RTs are expected to assist with CPR, intubation, and equipment setup during emergencies. Manage patients needing assistance with PRN treatments or BiPAP/CPAP for comfort. RTs may accompany patients during transfers to MRI, CT, or other departments. Conduct bedside pulmonary function tests and manage overnight pulse oximetry testing. Draw and analyze arterial blood gases for ICU and critical patients. Schedule and perform therapies such as Cough Assist, IPV, and CPT. Assist in the nursery with surfactant delivery and managing desaturation events. Maintain and clean respiratory equipment and ensure supply availability. Coordinate with the team to notify management about gas orders or supply needs. Provide support across various patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Utilize specialized equipment for bedside bronchoscopies, ABG analysis, and PFTs.
