qualified Neurosurgery MD in Rockford, Illinois, 61108! We are
seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurosurgeon for a
60-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity begins
on Apr 6, 2026, and features a flexible 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
schedule, with 24-hour call coverage and a 30-minute response
requirement. The position offers exposure to a mix of
bread-and-butter neurosurgery and trauma cases, with some inpatient
rounding responsibilities. Job Details - Location: Illinois - Start
Date: Apr 6, 2026 - LOA: 60 days - Provider Type Needed:
Neurosurgeon - Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (flexible);
24-hour call with a 30-minute response; will consider providers
with 1 week of availability Responsibilities and Duties - Provide
neurosurgical care for a range of bread-and-butter neurosurgery and
trauma cases - Take 24-hour call and respond within 30 minutes as
required - Perform inpatient rounding as needed - Collaborate with
clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient care Additional
Information - Illinois medical license and CSR required to apply -
DEA, ACLS, and BLS certifications required - Board certified or
board eligible in neurosurgery - Minimum 1 year of neurosurgical
