Job Description:

Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our GI Lab team in a faith-based healthcare setting. As an RN in our GI Lab, you will play a critical role in managing patient care specifically related to gastrointestinal disorders. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside top specialists and use state-of-the-art technology to deliver excellent patient outcomes. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the GI Lab, following established nursing protocols. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring efficient operations. Monitor patient vitals and condition before, during, and after procedures, providing timely updates. Educate patients and their families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations. Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal treatments and interventions Excellent patient management skills Ability to operate GI lab equipment safely Strong organizational and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Certification in Gastroenterology Nursing (CGRN) preferred
