Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Operating Room - Clinical Lead to join our innovative team. In this key role, you will oversee the daily operations of the operating room, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained and that we continue to provide compassionate, personalized care in line with our mission to transform healthcare. The ideal candidate will coordinate surgical procedures, manage operating room staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations while promoting a safe and efficient surgical environment. Oversee daily operations of the surgical suite, scheduling and coordinating operations effectively. Ensure all operating rooms are following hygiene and safety protocols as per healthcare regulations. Manage and develop operating room staff, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to professional growth. Collaborate with healthcare providers to plan and execute complex surgical procedures. Continuously assess operation room processes for efficiency and compliance, implementing improvements as needed. Coordinate with other departments to ensure excellent patient care throughout surgical procedures. Manage resources and supplies to ensure they are used efficiently and effectively, maintaining cost-effective operations. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills In-depth knowledge of operating room procedures and safety protocols Proficiency in using healthcare software and systems Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions quickly Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license BLS certified Certification in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR) preferred
