Our dedicated nursing staff, nurse leaders, interdisciplinary team
members, and physician partners practice on providing specialized
medical and nursing care to various inpatient units. Our
highly-trained staff utilizes the most current technology and
equipment. Medical diagnoses include various conditions such as
coronary artery disease, angina, myocardial ischemia, myocardial
infarction, dysrhythmia, syncope, congestive heart failure,
strokes, cancer, cellulitis, post-surgical care, and chest pain.

Responsibilities include performing all duties required by the unit
specific to the scope of service. You will implement procedures and
theories related to your specific area of practice. You will
maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care
provided to assure the integration of information for use by the
healthcare team. You will complete initial assessments upon patient
admission and develop appropriate plans of care based on patient
and family needs. You will implement the plan of care, nursing
interventions, and patient care procedures. You will modify plans
of care based on continuous evaluation. You will take
responsibility for patient and employee safety by reporting and/or
correcting safety hazards and incidents. You will communicate
directly and in private when necessary to resolve issues. You will
offer constructive feedback to assist in the professional
development of peers. You will confer with colleagues to expand
your knowledge base. You will identify your own learning needs and

units as required. You will provide direct nursing care and

administration and evaluation of effects. You will prepare patients
for procedures and provide pain management. You will perform IV
venipuncture, blood administration, and monitor labs. You will
discharge patients and provide instruction for a safe transition
from the hospital. You will document all care using electronic
medical records. You will ensure team huddles occur and attend
them. You will delegate appropriately with follow-up. You will
ensure basic care is delivered according to standards. You will
handle conflict management and maintain professional communication
with team members. You will provide post-operative care for the
complex surgical population. Required skills include the ability to
float to multiple units and deliver care to diverse patient
populations. You should be capable of managing care for both acute
and chronically ill patients. You must possess skills in
developing, implementing, and modifying patient care plans. You
should have proficiency in medication administration and evaluating
medication effects. Skills in preparing patients for procedures and
