Job Description Health System in this Chicago suburb is seeking a dedicated and skilled General Surgeon who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care while contributing to the education and development of future surgeons. Candidates must be board-certified in General Surgery and possess or be eligible for an Illinois medical license. In addition to clinical excellence, we are looking for a surgeon who is enthusiastic about academic medicine and surgical education. The General Surgeon is a core faculty member who is actively involved in our ACGME-accredited Surgery residency program, engaging in clinical and didactic teaching, supervising residents and medical students, and participating in curriculum development, quality improvement, and scholarly activity. Prior experience in teaching or educational administration is required, and the successful candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and genuine interest in mentoring the next generation of physicians.
