Job Description:
Marriott International, a globally recognized leader in
hospitality, is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Barista
to join our dynamic team in our hotel properties. The ideal
candidate will bring expertise in coffee preparation and a flair
for customer service to enhance the guest experience in keeping
with Marriott’s reputation for outstanding service and quality.
This role involves supervising a team of baristas, maintaining
coffee quality, and ensuring all guests are served with a smile and
efficiency. The Lead Barista will play a critical role in
maintaining our cafe as a top destination for both guests and
locals. Train and supervise a team of baristas to deliver
high-quality coffee and customer service. Maintain inventory levels
of coffee supplies and order new stock as required. Demonstrate
exceptional coffee-making skills and maintain consistency in coffee
quality and presentation. Ensure the coffee area is clean and
compliant with health and safety regulations. Assist in the
development and implementation of new menu items and seasonal
offerings. Manage customer feedback and utilize feedback to improve
service. Advanced knowledge of coffee brewing techniques Strong
leadership and supervisory skills Excellent customer service and
communication skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Experience in inventory management and cost control Medical

Barista certification (e.g., from the Specialty Coffee
Association)
