need you to work closely with leadership to impact the warehouse
team members by driving a high level of engagement, increasing
retention, and ensuring that the location achieves and maintains
warehouse staffing needs. We need you to roll up their sleeves and
provide tactical HR support as needed in a fluctuating complex and
competitive environment. We are seeking a seasoned HR professional
who not only brings knowledge and expertise, but is also able to
listen, learn and cultivate strong relationships, motivated to
drive change, and deliver value to the business. Essential
Functions:
- Oversee staffing activities for the warehouse and ensure that
needs are met to align with the staffing forecast by coordinating
efforts with the Talent Acquisition team. -
- Develop and execute programs to promote retention.
- Support the execution of training and development programs that
drive innovation and employee engagement.
- Responsible for in person new hire orientation with effective
hand-off to operations, 30- and 90-day check-in's and exit
interviews.
- Ensure warehouse compliance with company and regulatory agency
policies, including record keeping, documentation, processes, and
procedures.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line
management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development,
disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work
relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and
retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Manages workforce data and changes in ADP.
- Resolves conflicts and provides coaching and counseling on
human resources matters.
- Completes special projects as assigned, developing, and
implementing HR solutions/processes aligned with overall business
direction. Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate
sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances,
and policies.
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the
organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation
practices, and the administrative practices related to those
factors.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet
deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration,
or related field required.
- A minimum of three to five years of human resource management
experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired. Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a
computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the
organizations facilities.
