THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Change Manager will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The Change Manager will work to drive faster adoption, higher utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. This person will have to work with teams and individuals in the organization to understand the how change management powers Ultas Improve Always mindset. The Change Manager will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The Change Manager may also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions. The Change Manager will develop a Ulta specific framework for our Technology and Business Partners to integrate change management activities into their project plans. YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH ALL OF THIS BY:Applying a structured methodology and lead change management activities. Develop framework and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.Supporting the design, development, delivery and management of communications.Conducting impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.Providing input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete change management assessmentsIdentify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tacticsIdentify and manage anticipated resistanceConsult and coach project teamsCreate actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management planSupport and engage senior leadersCoach managers and supervisorsSupport organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilitiesCoordinate efforts with other specialistsIntegrate change management activities into project planEvaluate and ensure user readinessManage stakeholdersTrack and report issuesDefine and measure success metrics and monitor change progressSupport change management at the organizational levelManage the change portfolio #LI-CS1 THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: Bachelors degree required, Change management certification, PMP or project management designation desired 5-8 years of experience in change management preferredProven experience implementing change management strategy in a retail or technology industryCommand of best practices and understanding of how people go through a change and the change processProven experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and toolsExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent active listening skillsAbility to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiencesAbility to establish and maintain strong relationshipsAbility to influence others and move toward a common vision or goalFlexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situationsResilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevereForward looking with a holistic approachOrganized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tacticsProblem solving and root cause identification skillsAble to work effectively at all levels in an organizationMust be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through othersAcute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges ABOUT At Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ: ULTA), the possibilities are beautiful.
