1 Reports to: Department Supervisor Position Status: Full-Time,
Non-Exempt GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The Production Assembler is
responsible for assembling custom components and finished products
according to specifications, blueprints, and production schedules
in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires
strong attention to detail, the ability to use hand and power
tools, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. The
Production Assembler ensures that all products meet company and
customer quality expectations while maintaining efficiency and
meeting production deadlines. Candidates must be dependable,
team-oriented, and capable of working with a high level of
precision in a custom manufacturing setting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assemble custom products and components
according to drawings, work orders, and specifications. • Use basic
hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments accurately and
safely. • Read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Inspect materials and completed assemblies to ensure quality
standards are met. • Verify measurements and perform basic math
calculations as needed. • Operate production and assembly equipment
safely and efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized
workstation. • Meet daily production goals and timelines. • Follow
all safety procedures and company policies. • Accurately record
work in ERP or production tracking systems. • Package finished
products using appropriate materials and labeling • Assist in other
production-related duties as assigned. • Ability to lift up to 50
lbs. REASONING ABILITY: • Strong attention to detail and commitment
to quality. • Ability to troubleshoot minor assembly issues as they
arise. • Basic math and measurement skills. • Ability to follow
written and verbal instructions accurately. • Ability to stand,
lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. • Work
collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines. •
Adaptability to changing production needs in a custom manufacturing
environment. LANGUAGE SKILLS: • Bilingual preferred; English and
Spanish • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and
team members. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma or
equivalent preferred. • Previous experience in production,
manufacturing, woodworking, or assembly environment preferred. •
Experience using hand tools and measuring devices preferred.
