The Senior Manager, Brand Partner Marketing will have the opportunity to help build, shape and influence a brand new function at Ulta Beauty, Brand Partner Marketing, dedicated to unlocking the power of strategic partnerships that create deeper connections with guests and drive mutual business objectives. You will be empowered to use your strategic and creative marketing skills to design new frameworks, execute disruptive ideas and build insightful marketing programs in service of making Ulta Beauty the place where brands come to grow.

You are a marketing guru with a cultural backbone. You’re skilled at uncovering the intersection of storytelling and driving business objectives always putting the consumer at the center. You have an understanding of the full marketing ecosystem; from digital channels to physical channels you understand how the ecosystem works together, how a message can be threaded uniquely throughout and which channels to activate based on the audience we’re trying to reach and goal we’re trying to achieve.

You will partner cross-functionally with the larger Marketing team, Merchandising, Creative, Insights and Brand partners to develop strategic and measurable marketing programs focused on accelerating collective growth metrics.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional individual contributor with experience motivating and leading others and collaborating well with cross functional teams. Additionally, the candidate understands how to build impactful marketing programs that drive both brand affinity and engagement metrics as well as return on investment metrics.


Partner with Director to build out strategic vision for Brand Partner Marketing Design and implement actionable strategies to deliver on the vision for Brand Partner Marketing Drive high-value partnerships with brand partners from ideation to integration Engage actively with our data, analytics and insights teams to build connected, measurable marketing programs

Develop cross channel marketing programs leveraging digital and physical marketing channels Work with Marketing Analyst to surface unique and proactive opportunities for marketing partnerships based on data and insights Work closely with Merchandising team to understand core and new brand priorities Identify and create specific objectives and an approach to appropriately measure ROI Develop brand-facing presentations and communications that inspire and encourage partnership opportunities and build a reputation for team partnership Act as a marketing thought leader on the team, motivating and mentoring others


Min 8 years of brand marketing experience; consumer facing brand experience preferred Strategic partnership marketing background with proven experience leading programs that blend multiple brands Strong, hands-on, experience with digital and social marketing with the ability to think strategically about physical channels to understand the full ecosystem of marketing Proven experience managing robust marketing programs from ideation to execution Champion of diverse talent internally and externally. You proactively work to cultivate inclusive culture and use that competence to drive your team, the business and the work forward Ability to interpret data, insights and trends to drive strategic programs Strong ability to develop presentations and communication that is brand facing and has the ability to influence decision making and inspire great work You consider yourself an equal balance of insight and output and work well bridging strategy and creative Team player with strong interpersonal skills - a self-described “people-person,” comfortable speaking with all levels of an organization; Ability to delegate efficiently and maintain executive presence
