Overview:
Title: Office Coordinator

Status: Full-time

Dept: Home Health

Location: Bolingbrook, IL

Hours: Open to work M-F flexible between 8-5

Summary

This position serves as the on-site front office support for agency. Person is responsible for accurate and efficient office tasks completed within the metrics defined by our service line. Individual is responsible for the clerical administrative functions to ensure patient satisfaction, clinical excellence, and accurate billing/collections.

Coordinator to assist with outpatient scheduling, transcribing contract therapy notes, receiving intake documents, post-admit phone calls, pre-op phone calls, entering pre-ops, scheduling patients

Coordinator will also assistance within Documentation Review to help track and gather Intake Documents needed for charts

Clinical Services Coordinator-works with Clinical Service Manager to manage a team of clinicians in the field. Scheduling, monitoring frequencies, updating EMR throughout the day with documents and clinical information, fielding phone calls from patients and clinicians, tracking documentation, orders, preparing charts for DC, among other things as needed. Experience with EXCEL, medical office experience, home health experience is preferred
Responsibilities:
Core Duties

Register and schedule patients for Home Health and outpatient therapy Follow up with referral sources for missing required patient documents Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate personnel Order supplies, upload labs, DME tracking, connect with hospital portals Fill and send out supply orders to clinicians Upload documents and pictures to patient accounts Support clinicians and Clinical Service Managers with administrative and clerical support *

Qualifications:
Minimum Education Required:

High School diploma or equivalent and 2 or more years in an administrative position

Min Experience Preferred:

Previous home health or healthcare clerical/administrative experience Knowledge Skills and Abilities Excellent customer service with the ability to multitask, including working in EMR systems

The ability to communicate effectively and professionally Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Bilingual language skills in some clinics preferred

Ability to work as a team member with cross functional primary and secondary responsibilities
