The Edward Jones Trust Company exists to help clients and branch teams understand and achieve their unique financial and estate planning goals by supporting and partnering with their Client Teams and representing the Edward Jones Trust Company. The Sr. Trust Training & Development Specialist will serve as subject matter expert in trust services. The Sr. Trust Training & Development Specialist will develop and deliver estate planning and EJTC training material for branch teams and internal stakeholders. The Sr. Trust Training & Development Specialist will develop and update marketing content for the Edward Jones Trust Co. In addition, the Sr. Trust Training & Development Specialist will assist with general inquiries from branch teams regarding general estate planning, client identification, and investment topics. The purpose behind the activities of the Sr. Trust Training & Development Specialist are to drive new business to the Trust Company where appropriate. Key Responsibilities Understands trust administration and estate planning concepts Investment knowledge of portfolio management Solid working understanding of trust law Assist branch team to identify clients in Trust Company target market Comprehends the process for onboarding fiduciary accounts Familiarity with Edward Jones branch team and branch tools Identifies other wealth management products offered by Edward Jones and how they work with EJTC services Propose Trust Company solutions based on client needs Understands the scope of wealth management services Understands adult learning techniques and how to apply to achieve learning outcomes or objectives Develops, strengths and fosters relationships with branch teams, professionals and within the Trust Company Ability to generate marketing material and update regularly Develops and delivers training material Client Empathy skills Provides excellent client service Delivers transparent written and verbal communication with all parties to relationship Ability to discern whether EJTC can interpret and administer governing documents Review and understand estate planning documents Adapt the terms of governing documents with outside facts and circumstances to explain any issues with client and branch teams Identify issues related to wealth management such as tax and financial planning Ability to recognize and mitigate risk Gather and synthesize data from internal and external sources Strategize plans to continually add value to clients and branch teams Distinguishes and makes recommendation whether the Trust Company can satisfy client expectation Strong Presentation Skills Bachelor's Degree required 3-5 years of experience in Trust Co. relationship management, trust administration or related legal or financial services experience required; Extensive knowledge of fiduciary, gifting, investment, estate and income taxation principles and techniques; Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to interact with financial advisors, clients and other professionals.
