Truly, the possibilities are beautiful. THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Senior Copywriter will be key in delivering strong, consistent writing that nails our brand voice and continually elevates it. You ll partner with Creative and Editorial leadership to execute copy across all channels: store, print, digital, email, mobile, organic and paid social, video, and more. You think both in terms of campaign and content, writing strong taglines and conversion copy as well as evergreen content that supports campaigns and fills the gaps between them. You understand the variance of language and tone based on audience and channel, pivoting quickly and easily. And while this is not a people manager role, you re comfortable approving and top editing copy, acting as a model and mentor for junior writers. Finally, you are a student of culture, with deep knowledge of beauty, lifestyle, and trending voices. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Write hero evergreen copy across channels with minimal guidanceCollaborate with Editorial, Content and Marketing to write for key categories (makeup, skincare, haircare) Collaborate with Editorial leadership to ensure consistency of voice and toneSupport Senior Manager of Copy, acting as a proxy in meetings, approvals of external agency deliverables, and other dutiesPartner with senior designers to collaborate on creative developmentDemonstrate success through measurable KPIs across all channelsContribute to style guides and rubrics for copy across all channelsStay on the cutting edge of culture, current events and beauty, as well as trends in marketing, content, digital, and advertising ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: BA in Journalism, English, or Creative WritingMinimum 4-6 years of copywriting experience. A background in retail, ecommerce, agency, or in-house brand is a must Familiarity with highly matrixed organizations and/or client-agency dynamics, navigating ambiguity and multiple teams/stakeholders A champion for diversity, equity and inclusion, known for fostering inclusive thinking and representation in your workCompetence in creative & analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Google Docs, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, Invision, Miro, Monday.com)A left-of-center thinker, bringing fresh approaches to differentiate Ulta BeautyExceptional proofreading and editing skills, versed in AP & Chicago Styles


The pay range for this position is 73900.00 / Year - 121700.00 / Year with the opportunity to earn additional compensation pursuant with the Company s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience level shift geographic location and business and organizational needs.
