POSITION SUMMARY: The Member Marketing Manager, Audience Strategy role will leverage Ulta Beauty s rich first party data to provide audience expertise across the organization, through our new Audience Center of Excellence. With deep understanding of customer data, insights and analytics, this role will support owned and paid channels with strategic audiences, to deliver relevant, effective marketing campaigns. This role will be an important contributor in improving audience and campaign processes with internal and external partners. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor customer metrics, insights and analytics to serve as cross-functional audience expert and advisor
  • Consider marketing campaign and channel needs, along with knowledge of customer data, analytics, segmentation and journeys, to translate business and strategic objectives into custom audiences and recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and channel vendors to recommend audiences leveraging third party data and lookalike models
  • Partner with CRM, IT and channel vendors to efficiently and consistently leverage comprehensive data sets, and deliver audience data
  • Monitor and enable campaign results and audience performance against common success metrics, to inform future audiences, and drive continuous cycle of test > learn > optimize
  • Identify, champion and implement new or improved processes to enable consumer-centric decisions, and functional and efficient data support
  • Work with Analytics, IT, Product and Marketing teams to define requirements and support enhancement of the digital customer experience
  • Key partners include Integrated Marketing, Media, Channel, CRM, Analytics and IT teams REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field (Marketing / Business)
  • Minimum of 7 years related work experience
  • Strong practical knowledge of audience segmentation and customer data, including best practices, competitive landscape and emerging trends
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing landscape and data segmentation metrics, plus a general comfort working with big data
  • Experience working with a marketing tech stack and related customer technology platforms to execute targeted campaigns across all digital properties email, web, app and connected TVs
  • Ability to understand and action complex data
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, growing, ambiguous environment, remaining focused on execution
  • Independently partner, guide and negotiate cross-functionally internally and externally to deliver results
  • Outstanding project / time management skills and ability to prioritize to solve problems in a timely manner
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of urgency with aptitude for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to proactively coach and provide feedback to internal and external partners
