Maintenance TechnicianWeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on machines used on the Injection Molding and Thermoforming production process.This is a great opportunity to join the WeatherTech Direct team!* High performing, reliable, and teamwork-minded employees are rewarded with a competitive compensation and benefits package including the potential to earn end of year bonuses and pay increases.* Competitive pay commensurate with experience* Additional compensation: $1.00 per hour 2nd shift differential / $1.50 per hour 3rd shift differentialAs a Maintenance Technician, you will* Operate various hand and power tools to perform maintenance work and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics components efficiently and in order of priority* Carry out assigned Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks* Communicate with prior/oncoming shifts regarding any maintenance priorities and status updates* Conduct daily maintenance checks and complete daily maintenance tasks* Operate a computer to maintain data on maintenance and completed repairs* Train new and existing team members on different functions of the work area to ensure all can perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity* Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures* Work overtime as business demands* Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition while cleaning and maintaining equipment as needed* Communicate clearly and work as part of a team* Perform other duties as assignedQualified Candidates will* Have at least 5 years of experience performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics systems; knowledge of Plastics Injection Molding and/or Thermoforming* Have a high school diploma or equivalent* Have a trade school certificate or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred, not required* Have basic math, measuring and computer skills* Be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and machinery manuals* Knowledge of machine maintenance related to plastics injection molding and/or thermoforming* Possess a high degree of attention and be detail-oriented to prevent accidents, injuries, and quality issues* Have great attendance and punctuality* Be an excellent performer; deliver high-quality results consistently* Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude* Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English* Be authorized to work in the United StatesWhy you'll love working at WeatherTech DirectWeatherTech Direct is proud to offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package, opportunities for internal promotions and skill development, and clean and safe workspace.
