POSITION SUMMARY: The Supply Chain Capacity Management Sr. Analyst will manage overall capacity in the DC network. The Sr. Analyst will develop tools to bring visibility to network capacity and create a single source of truth for capacity planning and monitoring. The role will also lead the reporting and action items associated with capacity planning and provide potential risk, opportunities, and solutions to address DC capacity limitations. The Sr. Analyst will work with cross-functional partners to assess trade-offs and determine cost associated to each decision. This role will manage several relationships within ULTA such as Merchandise Planning & Inventory (MP&I), Information Technology, DC partners, Finance, and additional teams across Supply Chain. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide visibility to capacity constraints and potential roadblocks as well as solutions for process improvement.
  • Create a capacity planning program partnering with Manager, S&OP to support overall network and gather cross-functional feedback.
  • Develop and enhance capacity reporting suite to create a single source of truth and one-stop shop for all capacity-related reporting, in partnership with cross-functional partners & external consulting company.
  • Act as project lead for new capacity initiatives and projects.
  • Act as SME and point of contact for network DC capacity for Supply Chain, DC, and cross-functional teams
  • Develop tools for analysis/tracking of DC capacity management and provide recommendations for improvement to Manager, S&OP.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional process improvement initiatives connecting with workstream leads to understand risk, opportunities, and cost associated to capacity.
  • With support of Manager, S&OP facilitate meetings to engage partners across the enterprise when key decisions need to be made.
  • Evaluate need for process improvement projects and initiatives and take lead to facilitate action.
  • Provide current and future looking risk and cross-functional solutions to address capacity limitations as well as future-state for network expansion.
  • Partner strategically with Merchandise Planning & Inventory (MP&I) and DC partners to understand current and future risk. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Work as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to capacity planning and management.
    • Determine continuous improvement opportunities and lead projects to allow the organization to make trade-off decisions quickly with data.Create and manage the implementation of any changes through effective stakeholder and change management.Plan and manage project execution, ensuring that development projects are delivered on time, on budget, and consistent with specifications.Manage, measure, monitor, and mitigate risks to various projects, budgets, and timelines.Collect and report metrics to monitor and optimize project performance.
    • Drive process improvement initiatives across business units to deliver efficiencies and benefits to the enterprise. #LI-GH1 REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:
      • Bachelor s degree required
      • 4-6 years relevant work experience in supply chain, capacity planning, or operations
      • Ability to travel as needed (up to 20%) to support network expansion and current footprint
      • Microsoft Power BI and Tableau experience preferred
      • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
      • Working knowledge of SAP preferred. Must be comfortable learning new software
      • Must be able to contribute to meetings/short term projects across cross functional teams
      • Strong analytical skills with experience in process improvement and best practices
      • Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
      • Demonstrate the ability to learn within a growing & fast-paced environment
      • Lead and facilitate meetings
      • Lead and manage projects related to capacity visibility
      • Strong business acumen and financial understanding of trade-offs in decision making
      • Analytical mindset and focus on continuous improvement
      • Advanced Excel & MS Office skills required
      • Enthusiastic, persistent, action-oriented, and a strong sense of accountability
      • Highly motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work, and operate independently with minimal direction
      • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, project team and other departments within the organization
      • Strong strategic mindset, with critical reasoning and qualitative analysis experience
      • Thorough knowledge of business process documentation
      • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment in making business decisions
