Description:Action Truck Parts, headquartered in Bolingbrook, IL, is looking for a motivated and aggressive Parts Counter/Warehouse Assistant with Heavy Duty truck parts experience to join our growing team.As a member of Action Truck Parts, the Parts Counter/Warehouse Assistant is responsible for selling parts over-the-counter, over-the-phone, and occasionally, on-line, to our customers and also helping to ensure that we are able to continue providing our customers with available products that are easy to locate and properly received and stocked.Job Responsibilities of the Parts Counter/Warehouse Assistant:Assisting customers in selecting and purchasing the correct parts.Providing pricing and product information to customers.Assisting with inventory validation.Contributing to departmental production and profitability goals.Maintaining customer satisfaction at or above company standards.Answering telephones promptly.Receive and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages and report problems promptly to the appropriate person.Prepare items accurately for shipment according to customer orders/instructions by retrieving from the warehouse, packaging and documenting correct shipment details.Store materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number and/or description by safely performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and stacking by hand or safely using material handling equipment.Requirements:Job Requirements of the Parts Counter/Warehouse Assistant:3-5 years of Heavy Duty Parts Counter experience strongly preferredAftermarket experience strongly preferredKarmak Legend knowledge strongly preferredSome heavy lifting requiredPromotes and maintains a positive, team oriented, and customer focused attitude.Must be able to demonstrates positive resourcefulness & versatility in a fast-paced, changing priority, environmentPI207990277
