Job Description:

A Food Manufacturing company in Chicago Heights is seeking a highly skilled and motivated 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all bakery equipment and facilities as well as leading/developing a team.Responsibilities:
Oversee the maintenance and repair of all bakery equipment and facilities.
Ensure that all maintenance work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
Manage, develop and motivate a team of 5+ maintenance technicians.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Plan and schedule maintenance work to minimize disruption to production.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
Assists in the scheduling of engineering staff to support schedules, production and non-production hours
Helps maintain the engineering department s shop and equipment Assists in purchasing and maintaining proper inventory levels of equipment spare parts
Consults with Maintenance Manager on long and short term improvement needs
Assists the Maintenance Manager in managing the engineering department within all policy and budgetary guidelinesRequirements/Skills:
3+ years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role in a food production or bakery environment.
Strong technical knowledge of bakery equipment and facilities.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
