A full-time School Social Worker position is available in the Lansing, MI area, specifically serving K-12 students from Haslett, MI. This contract role begins ASAP and continues through June 5, 2026, providing direct support to students within a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans Conduct assessments, maintain case documentation, and monitor student progress Address issues such as attendance, bullying, family dynamics, and crisis intervention Facilitate referrals to community resources and services Support the social-emotional learning and well-being of the student population Qualifications: Fully licensed Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) through LARA Full Approval or Professional Certification as a School Social Worker from the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) No limited licenses accepted; must hold full professional certification Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred Availability to work onsite in the school environment Location: Haslett, MI within the Lansing metropolitan area This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students lives by addressing their social and emotional needs in a supportive school environment.
