Job Description:

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan (LSS) is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Crisis Care Coordinator to join our team. This pivotal role involves working directly with individuals and families in crisis, providing them with the necessary support and resources to navigate challenging times. The Crisis Care Coordinator will collaborate with various service providers and leverage a deep understanding of community resources to offer comprehensive, tailored intervention strategies. Evaluate the needs of individuals and families in crisis and develop effective intervention plans. Coordinate with local service agencies to provide immediate and comprehensive support services. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and services provided, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements. Train and supervise a team of support staff and volunteers. Participate in community outreach programs to educate the public on available resources and services. Continually assess and respond to emergency situations with appropriate strategies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle high-stress situations and make decisions under pressure Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution Knowledge of community social services and resources Proficient in data management and reporting tools Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Crisis Intervention Specialist (Preferred) First Aid and CPR certifications
